InkStar Campaign
Here's what it looks like so far. Throw your criticisms in. I did most of the layout stuff (tirelessly I might add) shit takes forever to look right. But kill it. Can't cradle your babies forever. Dana did the PR Acquisition. I tweaked it a bit to reflect the info on the ad. Tell me what doesn't connect. I'm tired of looking at this shit by myself. HELP!!!

Some New Info
For those who didn't know, that picture at the bottom is expandable. All you have to do is click on it.
Also you can now comment without being a member. I thought it was standard, but now I realize I had to set it manually. If you would like to be emailed every time this blog is updated, let me know. I can add you to the distribution list that sends it out automatically. I'm excited to work on ideas with all of you.

The Scavenger Hunt
Yesterday we were assigned some items to find on a scavenger hunt.
Here are the items we found. Some were singular items but we had some choices on other ones. You can vote for your choices by commenting and leaving your name.
Find something:
1. Purple ( A. Keisha's Pen B. The Kaplan Center Table)
2. Sticky ( A. Jolly Rancher Candy. B. Nelda's Lolly Pop) ( I ATE ALL THE JOLLY RANCHERS...LOL)
3. Soft ( FIU Signature Sweatshirt)
4. Fluffy ( FIU Teddy Bear.)
5. Angular (A. Orange Sculpture. B. Exercise Machine)
6. Pointy ( a. The Clock B.The Orange Flower in front of the bookstore.)
7. w/Petals (A. Keisha's Necklace B. The Pink Flowers outside.)
8. w/a pattern ( A. Mike's Haircut B. The Roof C. The Lights on the 3rd Floor.)
9. Transparent (A.Dana's Sunglasses. (Tom Ford) B. The sliding Door.)
10. Tall ( A. Biscayne Landing Condos, B. Tree)

Should you have a preference on any of the items pick one of the choices and let me know by commenting. If no one makes a preference then I will pick choice A for them. The list really doesn't matter unless you chose one of the items that might be eliminated as a product idea. Try to come up with ideas for each one. The strongest idea will be voted upon and then the rest of the items won't matter. Let me know by Monday or you vote won't count because the list will have already been printed.

P.S. People are going to be submitting their ideas and I encourage you to give positive feedback as well as good. If you don't like an idea just try to be sensitive to the other person's feelings and respect that they have their own thought process. And please feel free to explore new ideas because even if they don't work they might lead to something that does work. Let's not do anything too explicit...the teacher mentioned that in her syllabus and I think she's pretty PG-13.
